Developing and managing eGovernment architecture for the strategic implementation plan

The eGovernment architecture creates the prerequisites to enable the Confederation, cantons and communes to produce building blocks independently which together result in an eGovernment offering that functions, is easily accessible for clients and can be efficiently utilised.

Description of target state

The required architectural elements, systems and domains are to be reviewed and defined. The dependencies must be shown, and an architectural view of the implementation plan projects must be established. The architecture is adapted cyclically and managed according to the requirements of The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF).

The implementation plan contains various implementation objectives and measures. These are related to both existing and yet to be created systems and organisations. The aim is to ensure that the measures in the implementation plan are managed in accordance with the overall architecture in order to identify dependencies and interfaces at an early stage.
