The Swiss Conference on Informatics (SIK/CSI) is an intercantonal organisation for the whole of Switzerland. It combines the IT organisations of the public administrations of the Confederation, cantons, cities, communes, and the Principality of Liechtenstein.
The SIK/CSI is an information hub for information and communication technologies (ICT) and their use in public administration.
The SIK/SCI has been in charge of various prioritised projects in the eGovernment Switzerland programme since 2008. In the 2020–2023 implementation plan, the SIK/SCI is responsible for the following implementation objectives:
Support public projects in the areas of information technology and eGovernment
Promote the administration's data platforms
In addition, the SIK/SCI appoints a cantonal member to the eGovernment Switzerland steering committee, as well as a member and a permanent deputy to the planning committee.
