Stabilisation measures

Implementation concept for the eGovernment package as part of the third phase of economic stabilisation measures

With its third phase of economic stabilisation measures, the Swiss Parliament has allocated CHF 4 million for the benefit of eGovernment. The goal is to further accelerate implementation of eGovernment projects. The resources should be employed sustainably and transparently and lend themselves to measurable successes. For this purpose, the eGovernment Steering Committee has adopted applicable principles.

The implementation concept encompasses two packages of measures. The project leader organisations for prioritised projects, cantons, cities, and municipalities have the possibility of applying to the Programme Office of eGovernment Switzerland for support for their eGovernment projects as part of these packages of measures.

Package of measures 1: Prioritised projects

This package concerns targeted promotion of services and prerequisites in accordance with the catalogue of prioritised projects of the eGovernment Strategy Switzerland. The focus is on accelerating projects and breaking logjams. The support is provided in the form of financial contributions to the project leader organisations. An agreement is concluded between the Programme Office and the project leader organisations.

Package of measures 2: Resource pool

Via the Programme Office of eGovernment Switzerland, a resource pool is made available with external specialists in various project-critical fields. This resource pool can be drawn on by project leader organisations, cantons, and municipalities for temporary, self-contained projects. A service agreement is concluded between the service procurer, the Programme Office, and the service provider.
